SATEYE Satellite Subsystems & In-House Development

In-House Payloads and PCB Development
SATEYE is actively designing and manufacturing critical satellite payloads and PCBs within its state-of-the-art laboratory. Our engineering teams focus on developing optical payloads, ensuring high-resolution imaging and multispectral capability. The TTC (Telemetry, Tracking, and Command) systems are tested extensively in-house to guarantee reliable satellite communication with ground stations. We also develop our own communication boards to handle high-speed data transfer between the satellite and Earth. Our lab is equipped to prototype and test thermal control subsystems, including heaters, radiators, and heat management circuits, while the power subsystem, comprising solar panels, batteries, and power distribution units, is designed and tested for consistent performance. SATEYE engineers work on attitude and orbit control systems (AOCS), including reaction wheels, gyroscopes, and magnetorquers, to achieve precise satellite orientation. We design and assemble onboard data handling boards, enabling secure storage and processing of satellite imagery. The lab produces high-quality PCBs for various payloads, ensuring durability in the harsh space environment.
Testing, Calibration and Mission Readiness
All satellite electronics undergo rigorous environmental testing, including vibration, thermal cycling, and vacuum simulation. We develop custom mechanical structures and mounts to securely integrate payloads while keeping the satellite lightweight. Advanced sensor integration is carried out in the lab for star trackers, sun sensors, and navigation instruments. SATEYE ensures redundancy and reliability in all circuits to prevent single-point failures during mission operation. Our optical engineers calibrate and align lenses, filters, and detectors for maximum imaging accuracy. Each PCB and payload subsystem is thoroughly documented and quality-checked to meet international space standards. We simulate real-orbit scenarios in the lab to verify the performance of TTC, power, and thermal systems. Through extensive R&D, SATEYE is preparing for its own satellite constellation, ensuring all subsystems are mission-ready. Our lab-driven approach guarantees that SATEYE’s satellites and payloads meet the highest standards of precision, reliability, and innovation, providing dependable imagery and data solutions for both civil and military users.
